A Z Plumbing

So I am a bit torn with this one. I recently had my rental company have someone to come out for 2 issues. At first I was wondering if they were related however as it turns out they were not. The kitchen was entirely backing up which needed to have someone with the correct tool come out and clear from the vent. That part was completed promptly and wonderfully. The 2nd issue was one of the toilets was clogged. It was clear of debris so it wasn't clogged from usage but just would not flush right. So they used a toilet auger and somehow got it stuck. The auger would not come out. So for the last week I have had their equipment in my bathroom toilet because the solution was to break the toilet and replace it. I suggested to have it pulled and attempt to resolve the issue from the other end and my suggestion was declined saying that it had to be broken to get their equipment out. The estimate was for $340 for the replacement which is absurd. You can get a simple toilet for $100 at Lowe's and a wax ring for $7. So since I know how to do this myself and also have plumbing connections with my friend circle I did it myself. I pulled the toilet (like I suggested) and with just a little bit of effort - VOILA!!! No more clogged toilet. I reinstalled the toilet and it works like a charm. No replacement needed. If they would have simply tried all options available BEFORE resorting to the extreme, this would have been resolved a week ago which is my issue.

My rental company called these guys today to come fix my sink. The guy called me back and was so rude on the phone. I called my rental company and told them don't even have them come out to my house. The nerve of people. How do you stay in business with workers like that. Apparently it is not about making money anymore.

This is the third job they have done for us. I can only mention my experience with A to Z. The guys replaced the toilet and the shower valve stem. Completed in 20 minutes or less. Prompt and professional, also the same with the office personnel. Great customer service.

Had some blockage in my kitchen called my rental company and they called a-z to fix the problem. Upon arrival he didn’t ask what the issue was (should have asked to check and make sure) he just walked in said you have a plumbing issue and went straight towards the kitchen before I could even say yes. He would walk in and out the house and when I said something to him he didn’t acknowledge me. As soon as the man of the house woke up then he engaged in conversation and was a bit nicer with less attitude. Needless to say the man couldn’t even fix the problem. Apparently someone else is going to have to come and flush our pipes. He walked in and said yep we’ll i can’t do it I’m gunna call your rentor and tell them and just walked out. He didn’t call the rental company and hopefully we never have to use them again.
