Phil Luxenburger review about company Mr. Handyman of West Columbus

I wanted some work done on my place. I indicated when I initially made a call, when the estimate was performed and the day their worker came in, that along with some entry-way work, I needed a couple things fixed on my roof. During no part of the entire process was it indicated to me that they don't do roof work. It was only after the entry-way work was done that they said they don't do roof work. Now I'm stuck having to pay another company more up-front costs to perform work that I was given the impression that Mr. Handyman of West Columbus can do. The owner/franchisee called me the day after and hid behind the technicalities of the language of the estimate to escape any responsibility. The appointment was pushed back a couple times because I was told their employee was sick, then subsequently injured. I now wonder if they lied. Based on my experience, I wouldn't doubt if they did. The work done was adequate, but left it to me to so some cleanup and install a door knob, which I assume they would have done too, silly me.
