Womble's Septic Tank Service

From a 5 minute conversation with the guy who answered the phone, I know enough to know that I will never do business with these people. I called to ask them if they could come pump out my septic tank. I have had another company tell me that it is complicated to do for some reason, so I was calling Wombles for a second opinion, and because I have had this tank pumped before and thought Wombles did that job. The short version is: I have been to a pawn shop once in my life, and left going "If you ever want to be treated like garbage, just visit a pawn shop" (maybe / hopefully just the one I went to). Now this lesson: If you ever want to be treated like human excrement, just call the number for Wombles and have a 5 minute conversation with that guy. I am taking my business elsewhere.

We had our septic tank pumped then ended up needing a new drain field. Called to let them know I was coming to get an invoice for the pump out and he said ok. I sat outside the gate and called for 15 minutes to let him know I was here and he never answered. Scott was rude on the phone and will never have our business again.

I explained my situation to whomever answered the phone. He then asked, "What do you want me to do?". That's why I called them! After that remark, I excused myself and hung up. Rudeness on the phone is always a harbinger of a business that does not put the customer first.

The only reason Scott gets one star is because I am unable to give him ZERO! The owner of this company was / is extremely rude and very unprofessional. I suspect that he may have been under the influence of alcohol or other narcotics since he was slurring his words and at some point, not making any sense. I would never recommend this guy to anyone, ever! It is very unfortunate since I'm a huge supporter of local small businesses.
