If the reason you're calling a plumber is to spend loads of money for them to not to complete any plumbing related work then this is the company for you. If however, you actually need any work done then avoid at all costs. Not having running water is better than dealing with them. Their website (which I highly recommend you check out before you call them) states no call out charge. This is a complete lie. I had an issue with my toilet and was told the call out would cost £90 or so pounds. They also said that the £90 would cover the cost of the call out plus 1 hours labour. They will ask for your debit card details to secure the booking but that's not out of the ordinary. The plumber arrived, was in my house for 1 minute and said he would need to return the next afternoon with some spare parts. As soon as he left I got an email saying I'd been charged £96...For 1 minute and no labour...I called their office and was told he would return the next day and that they would call me beforehand with a price for the parts for the work to make sure I was happy before going ahead (they estimated £30 - £40). No phone call the next day so I called them myself and was told the plumber hadn't been booked and there was no appointment in his diary. On top of that they told me that, in addition to the cost for the parts, they would need to charge another call out fee of £96!! Even though I'd already paid that amount the previous day for his 1 minute visit. They then said the cost of the parts was estimated to be £60 - £70 plus £96 for the call out. At this point I declined any more of their services. The short story is that I gave them £96 for a plumber to come to my house for 1 minute and tell me he would need to return the next day with parts. I was still charged a call out fee and was told a further call out fee would have to be paid for the second visit. Remember that their website says no call out charges and they will tell you the charge is for labour. They don't do any labour. My assumption is that they scam people by insisting they don't have the parts, therefore having to book another visit for which they can charge another call out charge. If they had any decency they would refund me in full and not charge me for work they never completed. I will of course report them to national trading standards. Finally, I tried calling them about 15 times to get an update with no answer. I suspected they were ignoring calls from my number and would you believe that when I called from my girlfriends number they picked up right away? Do yourself a favour and skip right passed these guys. Or better yet learn DIY. Even better yet make some toast. Toast is a better use of your time.
