Finally found a company that didn't let us down. Turned up on time and in uniform. My partner and kids felt safe whilst the men did their job. Polite and friendly but most of all they cleaned up after the job was done. Well recommended.

Have been a homecare customer for nearly 12 months, and have had a couple of boiler issues which have been efficiently resolved with minimal inconvenience. Would highly recommend. Thank you Soper Homecare

Have moved over from British Gas homecare to the Soper homecare schemes. Cheaper and includes more for the price. They have a standard price for domestic cover...not like British Gas who change the price and continually rise it each year regardless of whether there were any call-outs forcing me to phone them each time to haggle over it, knowing they are just trying their luck by upping the price continually with no explanation of how they calculate your personal quote in hope people just renew without questioning it. It is good to know I am paying a fair price now as all customers charged same monthly rate in the Soper plan and when there comes a point that Soper need to up the rate for inflation then we all have the same increase for the same service provision so a fair system. Calling Soper is very easy, no annoying call handling system, if line engaged just leave your details they will call you back as soon as they are off the line with other customers. Two ladies I spoke two both very helpful. Gas safety certificate emailed to me within an hour of the appointment, very pleased with that as with British Gas I actually didn’t receive certificates no matter how many times I called them telling them it had not been sent to me (but renewal reminders they manage to send). Engineer arrived on time, happy with his conduct and attitude (Leon). You have option of annual or monthly payment, done on direct debit with an invoice confirming payments by email. Whole process much easier with soper’s and good to keep money in Plymouth rather than line pockets of a national beast of a company as they have a business unit base here so part of what we pay goes back into the city via business rates and the people they employ. Have not spoken to him directly, however another good thing is that the company is run by Marc Soper a heating engineer who has properly learnt the trade trough being brought up in a family firm and is not afraid to speak directly to customers, not managed by a bunch of suits who don’t know the trade or their customers just know about profit sheets, but by someone who understands what makes a good heating engineering service operate for the customers.
