Blacker Plumbing & Heating

I contacted Paul earlier in the year as a result of some positive comments from other people on Facebook...i needed a new gas boiler to be relocated in another part of my house...radiators moved and replaced...new plumbing and gas connections for a new kitchen (as a result of moving the old kitchen to another room in the house). It was a particularly busy time of year for Paul (very cold, lots of emergency call outs) but the guys called out to view what was required and offered simple and useful advice. We were able to set some initial dates, and as is the case with most renovations, dates changed but Paul and the lads were able to adapt around it. In addition to this i had a couple of "emergency" situations which Paul was able to resolve, over and above his other scheduled work. He has always responded to queries, has arrived as and when was arranged....and all with good humour, great craic and enthusiasm. Thanks for your help at what is/was a stressful time renovating a house!

Totally unprofessional and unreliable. This company has never been able to answer the phone or make a call. Only contact seems to be over Facebook. Made an appointment for a boiler service and they never showed up. It was rearranged and I was assured it wouldn't happen again and still they didn't show up. No warning or attempt made to contact me either time. AVOID

One of my radiators was cold at the bottom which stopped my main room getting heated properly. Paul explained that a build up of sludge can happen in a heating system and this was the issue. They cleaned the radiator out, and also fitted a MagnaClean Professional2 filter to capture particles to stop sludge buildup. Now in the room I have the thermostat lower and the room heats up a lot quicker. Great job

If I could leave no stars I would. Could rattle on about about how rubbish this outfit is but I cba wasting any more time with anything to do with Blacker Plumbing. Should be called Lacker Plumbing. Service dreadful, communication worse. Abysmal.

Great customer service. I was able to arrange for time that suited me in the early evening. No fuss. Quick and efficient. Definitely recommend to anyone.
