G Woods Bathrooms

G Woods recently completed a full strip out and install of my bathroom at the house I had recently purchased. They invited my wife and I into their showroom where we discussed all that we were looking for, from style of bathroom suite and tiles to budget and timeframe to complete the project. We left the showroom feeling that they covered everything we wanted and more and were more than happy to proceed when the full quote arrived. I was carrying out a lot of other work in my house at the time and G.Woods were very cooperative in working along side the other trades I had working at the property at the time. The work was completed quicker than we expected and was finished to a high standard, both my wife and I were extremely happy with how our new bathroom has turned out. We would like to thank G.Woods for all their efforts in completing this project from the lady in the showroom to the men who carried out the work, you were all extremely helpful. We would definitely recommend you to anyone and will be in touch if we need anything else

After getting and agreeing a quote they tried to increase the cost after staring the job. This was after they took a chunk out my wall which I had to repair with a plasterer at £50. The worker lost his keys so my husband had to lift floorboards looking for them. Although a lot of time wasted we didn't have a problem doing it. I took time off work and the 9:45am they called and cancelled. I took another day off and cancelled my plans for them to leave me looking for another plumber to finish the job because I didn’t agree to their extra charges. Also asked for a kitchen quote and the guy came out right away so really happy. Eight weeks later I’m still waiting and today was told because I didn’t pay the extra costs he won’t be giving me the quote. Never have I experienced anything like it. Obviously would not recommend anyone going near this company. There are loads of Other companies out there that won’t try to rip you off.

Used Woods Plumbers for 20 years for new boiler, repairs and general plumbing work. Always quick to respond and friendly experienced staff. Would recommend highly.
