Williams & Clay Ltd

We found Williams & Clay to be entirely untrustworthy and dishonest. They quoted a price for our project then, on day one, the price almost doubled yet the project spec had changed only minimally - we were left with no option but to use them as the project had started and there wasn't time to find an alternative. They were difficult to liaise with - not answering their phone leaving us having to leave messages which weren't returned. They were random in when they turned up - with us having to chase them. They didn't provide us any paperwork/guarantees for the work they did, and the items they installed, despite us having fully paid them - we had to chase this and eventually got it over a year later. Finally, they didn't complete our project, saying they didn't want to come back. We found another [brilliant] plumber who took on our project, only for us to find some serious errors in their work - our new plumber has had to rectify a number issues in their work - some of which have been unsafe and fail to meet the correct standards. DON'T TRUST THEM - find another plumber, there are great ones out they and these guys are not one of them!
