Initial free consultation by Dan was encouraging, occurring within 24 hours of our inquiry. He seemed to know our fireplace set-up and offered a budget-conscious solution. One star for that. BUT AFTERWARDS...waited a week and never received the job quote. Phoned, waited another two weeks, and still no quote. Went in to the showroom and were promised same-day quote. Three weeks later, still no word. Phoned again. The office staff said they'd get right on it, taping a post-it note to a chair. A few weeks later we phoned again. This time a return call happened within a couple hours. We were told the initial fireplace setup recommended wasn't the right one we needed. But they didn't offer a solution. Kinda felt like they thought we were just a "too-small-to-bother-with-them" job. Found another local company and had the whole fireplace issue completely fixed inside two weeks! Maybe they're good at big jobs? Dan was great. Follow-up was not.

I had a pinhole leak in the main supply line to my house - it required the city to shut the water off at the street. I also needed a very old toilet to be replaced. They sent Robert out - who was very efficient, polite and competent. He worked quickly and did a faultless job. He coordinated well with the city. He called later to ask if there was any issue. There was none. The office accidentally overcharged me for the toilet, which was an unusual make and they don't often order that one. They rectified the bill very graciously, and said they would correct their records on that toilet so the mistake wouldn't happen in the future. I recommend Fraser to anyone.

Dealt with them on several occasions and had nothing but good experiences, and they charge far less than Mayfair - great quality and value!
