I was having problems with an air conditioner. I was out of town and my daughter called another plumber to fix it. That plumber looked at it and said it would cost $1,400 to repair or $7,000 to replace the AC. I called my daughter and told her to call Lance for a second opinion. Lance came, removed some rust so it would drain properly, said he had seen much worse, and it should last 3-5 years. Then he didn't charge anything. I did not expect that, nor do I expect he will not charge for service calls in the future. My point is, he is HONEST. If it does not need replacing he will not recommend it just so he can make more money. He will be honest and not overcharge you. He has fixed things that needed fixing at a fair price in the past. I appreciate that when he fixes something it stays fixed, he knows what he is doing. Next time my daughter will call Waipiti first.
