If cost is a consideration, I suggest you have a very detailed discussion about billing prior to hiring them, as I called specifically to inquire and they didn't disclose that they charge 75 cents/km plus travel time at $75/hr plus shop prep time, etc. The plumber was done our job in 1.75 hours, although he took an extra half hour because there was a leak in the work, which they billed us for - 3 hours in total and well over $100 more than expected. We were surprised to be billed to redo work that had a leak +++. The km charge was more than 30% more than should have been too; they charged us for the least direct route x2. Nice to have our hot water back though!

It's sad to see how quickly people jump to sabotage a business online over one phone conversation - it has nothing to do with the quality of workmanship Bay Area has to offer their customers. There is a reason they get the business that they do and one bad experience on the phone isn't reason to go online and give a one-star rating. People these days are so quick to bash companies online not realizing the real purpose of giving an accurate review; it's the whole experience, not just an initial phone call. I know someone who has had their entire house plumbed by Bay Area and they did an amazing job, very respectful and professional. Think before you post.
