Our new home in Port Colborne needed a few emergency plumbing repairs and James Sherk responded promptly, helped us pinpoint the problems and recommended three different solutions. We selected the one we liked best and he and his crew had the work done within the week. One job required adding heat to a unheated work area to protect the pipes from freezing and James even donated a like new base board heater and arranged an electrician. I would highly recommend Sherk Plumbing and Heating.
Beware of Sherk Plumbing and Fleecing! He grossly overcharged us based on the industry standard. We requested to see cost of materials and hours logged but he refused. His apprentice and a grade 11 co-op student did the bulk of the work. It took him 10 months to complete the work a 4 to 6 week job based on industry standards. The number of screw ups are too many to list. I have reported him to the BBB the College of Trades and the TSSA. Avoid him at all cost!

NEVER USE THEM!!! COMPLETLY UN PROFESSIONAL, uneithical and have a "I don't give a rats ass" attitude. Booked my appointment a month and a half in advance. On thier request I had to schedual my last walk through at the same time for them to come so they could get measurements, booked that a week in advance. Gave them two options and booked at thier preferred period. Had to go through 4 different Realtors plus the people selling for sherk's convenience. My husband works away from home and they canceled the appointment with one hour till it was supposed to happen. Tried to play it off like they were asking if they could rebook for later and when I explained that was not possible due to how many people we had to go through to book this one and that my husband had to fly away for work and would not be back until the day of our closing was told "too bad, we're not showing up because even though we knew you had an appointment ment we took a last minute call" no apology, no remorse just "too bad". Luckily I was able to rebook the appointment with the 4th realtor and a new gas fitter but now my husband won't be able to be there for the final viewing of his $200,000 purchase. Thanks sherk. That's real great. I hope you lose your licence. And I'll be calling the BBB.
