Louis of L&J charges fair prices and does good work...if and when he shows up. He has been a no-show 3 out of the 4 times I've scheduled an appointment, with no prior cancellation or even a phone call on the day of, leaving me to chase him down to find out what happened. They're always very polite and apologetic, and I'll give them credit for that. But after today's no-show (for which I stayed home from work), I will no longer be using or recommending L & J. I hope they see this review and try to correct this issue, because they are one of only a few local plumbers and the work they do is not the problem.

Losers! I contacted L&J to quote running a gas line for a new stove. I was told that there would be a $75.00 fee to come out and provide a quote. If I accept their quote, the $75.00 would be credited to the job. The work was less than 1 mile from their place of business. I don't agree with "Knock" fees. I try to support local. In this case they lost the job.

I've had Louis come out to fix a number of things over the years. Always been prompt and thoughtful in his work. Replaced a water heater expansion tank, fixed some PEX lines and a number of other work over a few years. Definitely gets my recommendation for my plumber to call.
