I have worked w Perry years ago, the woman on the phone was kind & service guy was fantastic! I called today about an Air conditioning appointment, the woman that answered couldnt be more rude! If that's any indication of their service now, no thank you! I asked when I could expect them, she said "with this rain, who knows." It's not raining here! I said today ,tomorrow? She said "well, tomorrow is Friday so it could be Monday.I said no thanks, I'll call someone who wants my business! I called another business that was more than happy to help me!

They do decent work but are overpriced. Unless the temperature is very cold (and it was the day I called them, -9) you're better off going with one of the smaller dealers in town. Your bill will not include a labor charge, it is included in the parts...so you pay labor on parts that may not require any additional labor. This is like the auto industry only worse. Their customer service is good until you question the price, then they get quite prickly.

Had Perry’s over at a house to fix boiler issues on two separate occasions. The first had an expensive part and a few hours of labor with a really reasonable bill and Robert was very helpful with understanding the system and how to properly take care of it. A few weeks later we had another issue with same amount of time, minimal parts and the bill was twice as much. I wanted to make sure the bill was correct, especially in comparison to the first bill. I called their office multiple times for months and couldn’t get anyone to give me a call back or give me an explanation of what the extra $300 was for on the second bill. I eventually got a face to face with Kevin and he treated me as a naive individual without giving me an explanation other then “overhead” “I’ve got a lot of vans” “I’ve got to train these guys”. He became abruptly abrasive and difficult, he mentioned multiple times they don’t like to take jobs unless they are going to make “atleast $400” on it. Towards the end of our meeting he threatened me if I didn’t pay the over charged amount he would just charge me more. I asked multiple times for a breakdown and he gave me two reasonable “flat rates” (they use this phrase very very loosely) then an additional couple hundred dollars for “codes” that he couldn’t divulge. Told me not to call him ever again about the bill and too pay or he would charge more. After this experience I’ve heard multiple reports from others saying they are an over priced difficult business, but too little too late, Kevin got his way.

Kudos to the Perry Electric employee on call last night. My mom's furnace stopped working as temperatures were dropping. When the employee was unable to get it going, he provided space heaters until he could return. Bright & early this morning, he returned; and got it up & running. Thank you, Sue McDaniel Kelley
