Gillece is the worst company for HVAC in Pittsburgh. I got a coupon for a $50 A.C. Tuneup and the guy came in to tell us that we needed a new water heater, furnace and A.C.. And then when we asked him for the tuneup we paid for he said he would schedule a tech that never showed or came. He was just an evaluator. He also put stickers over all of our regular guys contact information without telling us! Use Restano's- trustworthy and won't cover up prior service provider's information or say you need new everything and give you an attitude. I'm going to post this on to all Gillece locations in Pittsburgh so everyone knows not to go with them- even if you get a coupon that sounds like a good deal - it's just a scam to try and get you to spend way more than necessary.

Very disappointed with this company. I don't understand how they are even in business. The commercial says s as me day or you don't pay. They charged me 100 just for the service trip, and ended up leaving the job without even telling anyone. When I called in upset about it, the lady that gets paid to be customer service, yelled at me and told me the service tech (the roof top expert) didn't feel it was safe to do the job so he left. He had to climb up a ladder about 7 feet and step on to a flat roof. Brand new building, so there are no deficiencies to blame. Unreal! How do I get charged for this? Why wouldn't someone even call me to let me know they were not going to fix the issue. Now I have a mad tenant that still has no ac. Unbelievable.. would have given 0 stars if possible

STAY AWAY! These guys are crooks! They use phrases like "Code Red" and "Emergency" when talking with the home base to make you get emotional about the needs in your home, then they give you the expensive contract to sign. They do very poor work, I have proof in my own home. I had to have two technicians come out to my house just to install a new dishwasher correctly. PLEASE DON'T TRUST THIS BUSINESS AT ALL THEY JUST WANT YOUR MONEY!!!

After spending about $8,000 with this company I realized how bad of a company it was to work with. Their service people are salesman too so they will try to convince you to got the most expensive route every time. They told me I needed to replace my entire unit ($7,000-$8,000, 5 years old) then I got the entire issue fixed for $575 from Schultheis brothers, as well as very reasonable upgrades to my unit. When complaining they said that it’s not unusual for their prices to be thousands higher than competitors because of the different hourly wages they charge. This company is a joke but a good last case scenario.

After reading these reviews mine is par for the course! Made an appointment to have some plumbing issues looked at then cancelled the appointment because of to many "emergencies" and felt like they really didn't want to reschedule in a timley manner. Guess they don't need the business!
