I've used two other local plumbing companies for years -- not really a problem with the other guys -- but I didn't know what I didn't know. I decided to give Petersen Plumbing a try because I learned that it's a family business with generations of plumbers (and a cute little kid with an embroidered company shirt sure helped!). The level of competence is amazing -- something that isn't easy to come by. I've used them on a rental and my own home, three separate calls. Today, they fixed a kitchen sink faucet that a different plumber told me I was going to have to "just buy a new one." So it's a savings...since I would have had to purchase the hardware *and* pay for installation. They've had everything they need on their truck -- I just love the preparedness and not hearing "we'll have to come back." Trustworthy and the kind of company you can tell will do what's right. They make me happy.
We were notified that we had a water leak between the water meter and our house. I called Petersen on a recommendation from a friend. I was told they had an opening in 2 days. Matt and AJ arrived this morning, two delightful and personable young men. They were quick to find the problem and fix it. I would highly recommend this company.
I have used these guys a few times. Last time when I was not home they had to change the sink faucet but they only had a cheap one on the truck they installed. I used to have a handle for hot and cold now just one handle and it takes forever to get hot water or desired temperature. I blamed my husband on authorizing this and accepted it. I called them two weeks ago with a leak under dishwasher. They replaced a plastic hose they said rats chewed. They replaced it but it still leaked. He came and said rats again. So we had rats taken care of and replace the hose and found the leak was not coming from that hose but rather a copper pipe that was not clamped. When taking the the dishwasher out to look behind it burst and flooded our kitchen. Tom's plumbing came helped us get things back in order and didn't charge us!!!
Very helpful and knowledgeable. They were skillful and adaptable and took care of a hot water leak under the foundation of my house. Highly recommended
I had Peterson Plumbing reseat a toilet and repair a shower head at my rental house a few months ago. They were on time actually they waited for me, I was on the way. They had to drill new posts for the toilet and installed new wax ring, screws and replaced parts of the shower head. I had put the toilet in some time ago and wanted to have a professional do it right. The cost was a little more than I was estimating but not by much and I was pleased to get the work done. I will be calling about replacing the water heater soon.
