Eric and Alyssa did excellent work on installing my ceiling fan, they have an excellent attitude and are very polite. They demonstrated excellent problem solving skills and went above and beyond. Highly Recommended! Also, scheduling over the phone was easy and the receptionist is always very patient and kind.
Mike L. is great! We enjoy him coming to our home because he's willing to teach us, is very knowledgeable and fun to talk to! Even the smallest of things that may be bad or going bad he will take the time to explain it and that's important to us! He takes his time and does a very thorough job! Called Beltz Home Service about moving thermostat to different location. We live in a split level house, Nest thermostat located on lower level/basement. Upper level of home is much warmer. Beltz employees came out and looked at what I wanted done and could not figure out how to run wire to move thermostat to where I wanted it. Instead they suggested that they would install a Nest remote sensor. They gave me an estimate for installation of $500, even though the remote sensor only costs $40. After they left I ran wire myself and moved thermostat. I had suggested a way for them to run the wire but they didn’t think they could do without running into other electric wiring. Part of their explanation of the estimate was that they had the knowledge and experience. They also stated their overhead costs and trucks. Fortunately the service call only cost me $45. I would suggest that you only call belts in the event that you want to get ripped off. For the job they proposed to do the cost was extremely high.
Mike did a thorough job checking all of my systems. I am extremely satisfied with his knowledge and professionalism. I would definitely request Mike L. for my next service. Patty is a jewel - one of the best first impressions a company could have!
I had a similar experience to another reviewer - Beltz repairman showed up and tried to charge me $700 to recharge my A/C with 3# of Freon and some bogus other charges bringing the total to $1,100! We declined their service but not before they charged us $159 for the service call. We called another company and they were way more thorough and charged 150 dollars to recharge the Freon and get the A/C working again. I'll NEVER use Beltz again! Beware. UPDATE: Their auto response from the owner meant nothing - NEVER contacted and they did not "make it right".
