I had a very good experience. I called just before 8 pm on Friday. It was 5 below and my furnace wouldn't stop blowing cold air. I thought the woman who answered was the answering service. Turns out it was his wife, he just walked in and she put him on the phone. He tried to talk me through shutting down the blower over the phone. No luck. He was at my door in about 1/2 an hour. Apparently the switch was located where the furnace that had been replaced almost 30 year's ago been located. Blower off. Best scenario, I would need a new controller. Worse a new furnace. Next morning he called bright and early to tell me the part was not in stock and couldn't be ordered until Monday. Temperatures were going to be even colder over the weekend. He gave me the names of people who bought the part recently so I could contact them to see if I could get service before Monday. Many Thanks.
I tried to hire him to do a job and although advertised 24 hours told me too busy to help me. Then as I was hanging up I said to my son someone else who doesn't want to make money. In response he called me back to tell me how rude I was, not that he made out what I said because he asked me what I said before he told me I was rude. Then he tells me he was going to try to work me in, but now I'm on my own. Very unprofessional.
Didn't make it past the receptionist, so I can't comment on the quality of the actual services. The woman I spoke with seemed almost annoyed and when I asked for rates, she asked if I wanted to shop around. I said yes and she replied with a very terse "keep in mind we're first come, first serve." Entirely unnecessary and in an offensive tone. Pretty much lost my business then and there.
I'm sorry that Nancy Grace was upset but she said it herself.. while we might be pricey, we answer the phones, we get the job done, and if she was not happy why didn't she call us and tell us. I love people who hide behind a keyboard and make comments. And honestly, she is not even in our database... so I don't believe we did anything for her.
I hired Pat two or three times and his service was excellent. I had a complicated sump-pump, washing machine drainage issue and he made my problem go away. Would I hire PSG Plumbing again? Damn straight!
