Dave's Septic Tank Services

We had one of Dave’s workers come out to inspect our septic before we bought our home. The guy only pumped ONE tank and said we only had one tank. He passed the septic and we bought the house. Not even three weeks later, our septic backed up. We had to pay someone to come out and pump it. They discovered that we had NOT one, but TWO tanks and said it was failing.

I had been told good things about Dave's Septic Tank Services and read some positive reviews. I am not sure what happened but Dave came to our home and gave us an estimate to have risers added to our previously serviced septic tank. He made an appointment with us for the installation and then did not show. We left several messages spaced a week apart - he then called us back and apologized and made another appointment with us but again no show. I have since left multiple messages over a period of a month and have finally given up. I really wanted to work with Dave - he seemed nice and anxious to help but I think it is terribly poor service to not show up (no notice) or not follow through on promised work.

I called and made an appointment for Saturday, August 6. We agreed that my septic would be pumped at 7 am. At 7, no pumping. At 8, no pumping. At 9, no pumping. Finally called at 10 and left a message. Received a call back a few minutes later where I was told that he flat out messed up and forgot about my appointment. Rescheduled for Sunday, August 8th at 7am and was told they'd be here. Well, guess what? My septic still hasn't been pumped. My husband called at 7:30 to ask if we were forgotten again. We got the run around again and were told that Charles County restaurant grease traps were building up and he was behind and needed to get them done. He told us that he could be out later to take care of us and we told him not to come. Why schedule appointments and then not show? Horrible business practice. HORRIBLE.

Great price, terrible service. I payed 220 to get my tanks pumped out and they only pumped one out. I was told that since they only did half the job that both tanks would be re-pumped. I left them at least 7 voicemails with no call back asking them repeatedly if they would come out and finish the job they already have been payed for. I never got a call back. I had to drive to the owner of the company's house and leave a bunch of notes that he needed to come to my house and pump out the tanks as it was an emergency at this point. He finally came out the next day but did not pump both tanks like he said he would. I have been calling them repeatedly and been leaving messages as I need it pumped again and am giving them one last chance. They have told me at least 4 different times that someone was going to come out on a particular day and that never happened. If you can get them do actually do the work the price is great but this is the worst service I have ever received and this is the only negative review I have ever given.

Dave is the Man! Our septic was FULL and backing up into our basement tub. I called Dave at 10am and he was done by 1pm. Good Guy! Great Service! Thanks Dave!
