Came out to reconnect plumbing after countertops were installed. Roger did a great job! He was courteous and professional and fast.
Four years after having a hot water tank replaced, it broke again, and on a Friday evening. Contacted Bill’s, as they were the one who installed it originally, to have them come take a look and replace. Apparently they do not work weekends and do not answer emergency calls. Needless to say, we went 4 nights with no hot water. His workers were rude and never mentioned to my (elderly) mother how much labor would cost or if the tank was even covered under warranty. Bill finally responded to me, via text, and informed the tank was covered under warranty but the labor charge was $300 for 50 minutes of installation. Completely outrageous. His workers left without giving us any documentation that it had been replaced. No payment was given as we were told “the lady who does the payments is out of the office today but will call you tomorrow”. Also did not inform us that the city would have to come out and inspect the new Installation. His workers are clueless. Do not use this company if you want quick, honest work.
I've had them out 4 times in the past year and they have been fantastic every single time. This last time was for a frozen water line and they went above and beyond to help us get the issue safely resolved.
Fast, courteous, reasonably priced service, and a local company. Definitely recommend. Contacted several local plumbers to fix leaking shower; the one company who made free diagnosis quoted an insanely high price ($500+) for changing out the cartridge while another quoted upfront fees ($99) that wouldn't be considered part of labor! Bill's Plumbing Service had a very reasonable diagnosis fee that they included in the labor if work proceeded. Pat, the gentleman who showed up, was very professional and courteous. In the end, got both our showers fixed for a very very reasonable price.
A fitting had cracked in the water supply valve to my bath/shower, so I had them come out and replace it. They fixed the leak, and told me they would replace the fixture with a Delta product. What they didn't tell me was that it would be a cheap Delta product that had a one-dimensional control, meaning I can only control the water temperature and not the volume. So now I have a bath where the water options are no water, or it comes out full force. My leak is fixed, but it doesn't make a great deal of difference now since the bath is basically unusable to me with the current fixture. They also fixed a leak in one of the lines to my washing machine, but instead of replacing the joint where the leak was occuring, they just chopped off the pipe above the joint and installed a new spigot there. So now my hot and cold water lines are about 9-12 inches different in height. It doesn't make a difference as far as function goes, but it just looks rough and cheap. They also made zero attempt to clean up afterwards, so there were several lengths of pipe left behind and some other stuff for me to clean up. I was not impressed. I suppose I should have asked to see the bath hardware before the installed it, but I didn't know that anyone these days even made a faucet that wouldn't allow you to control the water volume. Even cheap hotel rooms and apartments have hardware that allows that. They weren't really any cheaper than anyone else, so for the rates they charge, I think there are better options out there.
