Amazingly rapid response to my call for service. Very professional office staff and workers who came to the job site. The work was done to my satisfaction and close to the estimated time frame. Not cheap but high quality. Highly recommend!

The best in the business. I own two restaurants in the city along with a 130 year old Victorian so I probably find myself calling a plumber more than the average Chicagoan. Jan is always thorough, responsive, and takes pride in his work. Something that isn’t too easy to find these days. If you want it done right the first time give Vanguard a call.

Just had Vanguard come out to replace an old water heater. The process leading up to the installation was very smooth, and the owner Jan is very responsive. The pricing is fair, and the work quality is top notch. Even though we had a slight problem with a defective valve that added a couple of hours of labor, Jan worked with me to agree on a fair price for the extra labor time. Couldn't recommend vanguard enough!

Jan is amazing. I’ve hired a lot of contractors for various issues around the house but he is the only one that I have run across that I actually think really loves his trade and truly cares about the client that hired him. I sent photos of the leaky pipe in my bathroom and he sent a quote quickly and job was done exactly as stated. I tend to helicopter any contractor that is doing work on my home because I would like to learn for future issues and Jan is beyond curious, professional, and very knowledgeable to any questions I had. This is actually the second time we have used Vanguard and Jan is by far the most efficient and friendliest contractor I’ve met. Highly recommend Vanguard Plumbing and Sewer!
