J & R Herra was the right choice for our furnace repair. They were cordial from the get go, explained everything thoroughly in laymen's terms, and offered us the damaged part that was replaced. John was friendly and knowledgeable, worked quickly and cleanly, and left us with a feeling of confidence that things were done right. The cost was reasonable and ultimately we are very pleased. Had a no heat issue on Saturday morning (-F temps) and reported to JR Herra at around 7.30ish. They had someone out to me by 9am that morning which really surprised me. I'd cancelled plans expecting to be waiting for most of the day as it is busy season. On top of this, the engineer they sent knew the issue from my description (a naughty nest 3rd gen) within seconds of arriving. He rescued my system, tested the circuit board as best as he could, loaned us a replacement thermostat and was on his way. I'd recommend you ask for John (hope there's only one) as he seemed really on the ball, pleasant and honest (see next sentence). I believe it would have been easy to diagnose my circuit board as the issue and force us to buy a new system (the current one is 15 years old). So a call out fee and new thermostat (EcoBee if you're interested) compared to a new furnace should have me smiling for weeks.

Vince and Levi were professional and courteous when servicing our furnace and were able to correct the issue quickly. It was another positive experience with J&R Herra.

I have geothermal for my home as well as standard HVAC rental homes. These guys are excellent for two reasons...one, they show up when they say they are going to show up. And two, they are honorable in that if certain repairs and parts are required for service, that’s the work they communicate and perform. Had another company contacted by one of my tenants come out to a non-functioning A/C unit. Told the tenant to tell us(landlord) that a whole new compressor and A/C unit was needed at a cost of $4500. J & R Hera came out and performed the necessary repairs for under $500. That’s integrity. For unsuspecting customers other companies prey on “victims”...not this company. I recommend this company highly.

They know what they are doing. I needed a new furnace, they did a great job explaining what my options were and had very competitive prices. We're happy with our new furnace.
