Incredibly polite and professional. The plumber even wore booties on his feet to ensure no grime was tracked into the house. In addition, the work and craftsmanship was well done. The plumber even installed an extra ball valve in my water line for an added isolation. I am very pleased with their work.
I had Petersen Plumbing come for a sewer Jetting job. Let me start off by saying I was extremely pleased with the plumber His name is NICK who came out and took care of my issue. He was very professional, he is kind hearted and knowledgeable and quick to fix the issue.NiCk deserves to be the employee of the year.????
We're selling our home and the buyer hired them to inspect our sewage line. They came back and said they were unable to preform the inspection due to roots clogging the line and that they had to be fixed. We hired another plumbing company to "clear out the roots" when the other company looked through their scope they didn't find any roots or signs that there has ever been roots blocking the line. They even showed us through their camera and... no roots! He said we had cast iron pipes and those don't typically get roots! I'm guessing Petersen was hoping that we would be lazy and just hire them to "clear the roots" in hopes to make a few hundred dollars. Very unethical and shameful if that was the case. Either way they lied, not good.
Very professional and friendly service person actually fixed my water heater. I expected that replacement was the only outcome that would be considered, but was proven wrong. The price of the repair would be put towards replacement if I continued to have problems, but after a couple of weeks of proper functioning that doesn't seem to be necessary.
Let me start off by saying I was extremely pleased with the plumber who came out and took care of my issue. He was very professional and knowledgeable and quick to fix the issue. For that Petersen Plumbing gets 5 stars. The reason they only get 1 star is due to their shady, and unethical, billing practice. When I called to set up an appointment I was quoted a $50 trip charge and $100 per hour labor rate. This is totally acceptable. The initial visit was 45 minutes and based on the diagnosis the plumber needed to come back since he didn't have the parts on his truck. The second time he came he was here another 45 minutes. So 1.5hours total. This is very efficient. Now the ******BUYER BEWARE****** part is what they don't tell you (or at least the excuse they are giving me) is that that if the plumber has to come back because they don't have the parts they will also charge you for their travel time. This resulted in 1.5hrs of travel time or $150 out of my pocket. On top of that their billing statement offers no breakdown or itemization whatsoever of parts or labor. So you are to just trust what they bill you. I'm sorry, but when you're charging $100 an hour I expect a detailed account of what labor is involved and what parts were replaced and what they cost. With that said I cannot, in good conscience, recommend this company to anyone.
