Couldn't light my water heater. They were the only ones who would come out and take a look. The house wasn't lived in for a year so they pointed out the bottom was rusted out on top of the part that lights the pilot was bad. Came out that day and installed a new one and did a great job. Didn't take them very long and had to do way more than a normal install because my house was built in 1930, yet didn't charge for the extra work since they already quoted me a certain price. Will call again if an issue arises.

Our water heater went out at the worst time! I called Rood heating and cooling because they were the ONLY ones open. They were there with a new water heater and got it fixed promptly! I love their fast and friendly service. Fortunately, I was able to pay for it, but was assured of their great financing they had available. They were willing to work with me!! Eddie and Preston are your go to guys!

Service tech came out to diagnose my unit. He starts sniffing the Freon that he is allowing into the air, then tells me I have the wrong Freon in my unit. (Red flag) after that he tried to sell me $7k worth of parts and labor for a new unit. Called a different tech and it ends up being a $100 coil cleaning that is needed. I called the service manager to let them know about their tech and the reason I will not be paying the bill. I was dismissed out of hand and called a liar. All she had to say was "sir we don't have techs like that" and "you need to pay the bill". The owner Eddie Rood called me back and was very helpful in resolving my issue and assured me this is not common practice. Thank you sir! I refuse to pay for services NOT rendered...

When they fix something, it's fixed! When they quote a price, they are quoting the price for what we NEEDED not just to give us a low price that ends up costing us more each month on our utility bill. In full disclosure, I do work with them in advertising, but I have also grown to trust 4 generations of expertise.
