At the beginning of November I had my furnace cleaned and inspected by Alberta Indoor Comfort. In early January, I realized that my furnace had stopped and would not turn on. After numerous attempts I finally got it to start but there was a loud rattling sound so I turned it off immediately. I had been a 20-year customer of Sears before they went out of business and just continued on with Alberta Indoor Clean Air expecting the same great service. The technician came over about 8 pm. He looked at the furnace and found that a screw had fell out of the inducer motor housing and the other screw was just hanging, leaving the motor just hanging. It took the technician ten minutes to find a screw and one minute to put it in. Although the stated price was $229.00. he said that because it was such a small job, he would phone his supervisor and see if they could discount the charge for the service call. No dice. Pay through the nose for something that was supposed to be taken care of two months before when the maintenance man inspected my furnace. It was the company's shoddy work that made the call necessary in the first place. It also put my household in danger because who knows what else he missed. This company might have squeezed a couple of $100 out of me this time, but they will lose my future business which would be in the thousands.
Prompt service, knowledgeable technicians. James was great at answering my questions and explaining the installation. Basement was neat & tidy when he left, no mess. New furnace is quiet and efficient.
We have used This company for years under the SEARS banner and were always very satisfied with them. This fall we had them in our home again and once again we are very satisfied. They were professional, on time , courteous and answered all our questions.
