Lee was awesome to come in and fix our washer in a timely manner. He was very kind and courtesy. I recommend him and this company to anyone looking for someone exceptional to fix something.

When our washer pump went bad, we contacted Lowe's and since it was still under warranty, they had Total Appliance Service come out to fix it. The technicians have been good, but the customer service at this company has a lot to be desired. The first time they came out, the technician was on time and determined that a water pump needed to be ordered. He said they would call me when the pump came in. We waited a week and still hadn't heard back. When we called the company to inquire about the part, they said it came in 3 days ago and that they called us and left a message. My phone showed no indication that they had called and there certainly was no message left. Whatever. The part was in and we scheduled a date to install it. About 4 months after the part was installed, it failed. We called Lowe's again and they again assigned Total Appliance Service to fix it. An appointment was scheduled, except this time the technician did not show up. Complaints were registered with Total Appliance and with Lowes that afternoon. Total Appliance called back the next day and again said that they called both numbers and left messages on our phones. This was not true as both phones did not show any incoming calls from them and no messages were left. Total Appliance did not recognize their mistake and made no effort to get to our home right away. Customer communication is a problem at this company. We are currently waiting for the part to arrive, but we aren't waiting for them to call, because they never did before. We call daily to follow up on the status of the part and to schedule the appointment. Getting mad at them doesn't help. They will just tell you that they called and left messages, turning you into the bad guy, rather than trying to help you.

I was forced to use Total Appliance Service since they are the only authorized Electrolux repair company servicing my town. One oven in my double oven unit was not making temperature. By their own admission, none of the technicians to come to my home (3 of them) had ever worked on an Electrolux oven before. These are factory authorized repairmen?! No troubleshooting took place, the technician just began ordering random parts, none of which corrected my problem. During the 3rd visit I finally convinced the technician to call the manufacturer who immediately diagnosed the problem as a bake element and had the technician test the resistance on the element to verify. Bingo, an easy and inexpensive fix. It is a very common failure and should have been the first thing tested on the initial visit. While installing the bake element during the 4th visit, the technician shorted out the new control board that TAS had unnecessarily replaced on their 2nd visit. After 2 1/2 months I now have $600 of parts I didn’t need, $200 in labor charges, a completely non-functional oven, and no one at TAS will return my call. These people are both INCOMPETENT and DISHONEST - STAY AWAY

The first day they were scheduled to come out they gave the time window of a 1200-1600 arrival. They did not call until 1645 to say they were on their way and didn't arrive until after normal business hours That being said the service they provided once they made it was very good. Once parts had arrived for our washer it was repaired within 24 hours Overall impression--unaccountable for their 4 hour window arrival times, but they seem to do good work once they arrive. Ask them how many appointments they have ahead of you to get a better idea of when your technician will arrive.

Do not use these jokers! They came out saying they could fix my appliance, then couldn't, had to order a part (of course they ordered the wrong part we found out a week later) then had to order another part (failed to call me until I called them 2 weeks later to have them say "the part is on back order") I said why wouldn't you call and tell me that the day you found out. I have to call the manufacturer to get them to over night the part because they felt horrible about the experience. The part was at their office 4 days ago and I still can't get them to come fix it let alone get a manager to call me back. I'm on my 3rd day calling and he is out to lunch every time I call no matter the time of day it is. Use someone that wants to earn your money not these jokers....
