Martin in the flooring department is the epitome of an outstanding Customer Service Representative. He was personable, genuine, knowledgeable and helpful. Our carpets have not been installed yet, so I cannot comment on my satisfaction with that but so far, all of my interactions with Home Depot in the process have been smooth and I feel confident I have chosen the right people for the job. Seriously, if you're looking for flooring, find Martin and you'll have a pleasant experience.

Typical staff is great! But do not buy a kitchen set from them!!!! We ordered our in November with promises of us having our counters and them being fully installed before Christmas! It is now in the middle of January, and we still have not received our counters. With no apologys from Home Depot! It's a poor way to run a buisness in my mind. So if you are looking for a new kitchen don't put this place as a spot to look!

r 5 star rating goes to the cabinet department! We first tried going through local Wxcabinet makers after our kitchen flooded and needed new cabinets.. With lead times way to far out due to having kids and not wanting a torn apart kitchen for longer than needed.. So after we figured Lowes that we typically go to would be fast the lady at the cabinet department at lowes was really slow and not constructive in getting done stuff we needed to get done. After she was completely rude to us after we said we were still deciding who we were going to use, we went to Home Depot! Both the people at Home Depot, Paul, and Mandi were very fast friendly and responsive to our needs. The installers were the same! The guy who installed went above and beyond to get the job done and done right! Very happy with our cabinets they are AMAZING!! Thank you Home Depot!!

Manager Corey would not listen to my complaint. 12 water heater purchased in 2004 started leaking. The warranty company told me to return to Home Depot to trade for the new one. ( Still under manufactures warranty, they then trade with Home Depot.) Layton Home Depot said it takes 3 days to process, So after waiting 3 days, when returning the leaky tank they did not trade for the water heater, but pro rated the cost and charged me an additional $104.00. Not what GE / Rheem quoted me. Not happy.

Worst customer service, DO NOT ORDER FROM KITCHEN & BATHROOM DESIGN!!! I went in on April 9th (Wednesday) wanting to order a stone countertop because they were having a 10% off sale til Sunday. Took FOREVER to find an employee to help. Finally found one and got an appointment to have someone come out and measure the next day. The guy came and measured (from a contractor, does not work at Home Depot; he was great and professional). He told me someone from kitchen and design would call me the next day to order (Friday). I was never called at all from anyone. Sunday finally came around and it was the end of the promotion; so I finally called them and no one in that department was answering, I kept getting the run around from other employees too. Was told no one was in kitchen at all today by one employee and another said that the assistant manager would call me cause he can order that for me so I can get my percent off. He didn't even call me back either. I had to finally go in hours later to track someone down and there was someone in kitchen design.... Got it ordered and was told (by two different people) that it would be 2 1/2 to 3 weeks til it was installed. So, here I am now, May 5th, and I still have not received a call from anyone to set a date to have it installed. It's been more than 3 weeks. I called the store today (several times). Getting the run around again, left a message only to find out that the person I left a voicemail for is in Hawaii; tell me why they even transferred me to his voicemail. Then someone from customer service said no one was in kitchen today; WHY IS NO ONE EVER IN KITCHEN & BATHROOM DESIGN! So she said she could look it up; put me on hold, waited 10 minutes and then she hung up on me. Called again and a guy actually answered "Kitchen & Design" so I told him that I wanted to know the status of my countertop. He said that Robin could help me; so he transferred me to Robin - IN APPLIANCES! She said that she is not able to help cause she works in a different department. I have to give Robin credit cause she was honest and nice to me and told me the exact hours to call to get someone in that department and she had no idea why people are transferring me around or hanging up on me. For now on, I will NEVER order from Home Depot ever again. My loyalty is officially to LOWES!! They have never treated me like this.
