So expensive it was cheaper to pay the £96 callout fee and pay Vaillant £285 for a fixed-price 'fix anything' call. I had an F.32 boiler fan fault. Sent an engineer who seemed somewhat unprepared - he had to phone Vaillant to get directions on how to confirm the fault, and his voltmeter battery was flat as well. Wish I'd asked for a quote up front for fan replacement, but so many 5* reviews here I didn't. Lesson learnt.
