After doing a city-wide search for plumbers, I decided to work with Ace Plumbing who diagnosed that part of my sewer line was clogged in my 1885 Victorian home and needed replacing. Their pricing was good value and despite the job turning out to be much more complicated than planned they didn't overcharge me. They were reliable and throughout the project kept me very well informed. Thanks to Joel, Ricardo, Sean and the rest of the team. I would strongly recommend Ace Plumbing & Rooter!
I really really regretted hiring Ace Plumbing. I hired them to fix a code violation with my water heater. While I was able to get a guy to come out and do the work, albeit very slowly, the owner of Ace refused to get the permits necessary to do get the city's sign off. I called, I followed up, talked to their front desk and no one ever called me back. The guy that did the work said it was all up to the owner, his hands were tied. Apparently the owner couldn't be bothered, he was not even around much. After two months of trying to get the job completed and trying to get ACE to pull the permits and finish, I had to hire someone else that pulled permits and did the work within a week. I would not recommend them.

Plumber showed up an hour later than the window provided. Things happen that are out of someone’s control, so I understand to a point, but I had to call and ask where the plumber was- they were not proactive. Plumber had to borrow my ChannelLock pliers, had to borrow a bucket and towels. He left our hose in the vent on the roof of the unit. There was no care AT ALL given to try and protect the floors , walls or the fixtures. When brought in the augers- scratched the bathroom floor tiles and the wood floors I spent over an hour deep cleaning the bathroom after he left Never again Ace Plumbing
