Plumb London Upper Edmonton

This is by far the worst plumbing experience I have ever had. The engineer himself was polite and helpful. However after 20 minutes he had diagnosed the problem and then went to his van for 15 minutes to find out how much a replacement pump would cost. I had already done this within 30 seconds of him saying the pump needed replacing. He came a back quoting £170! I could only find the same part for £80 at its most expensive and £70 on average. I asked the engineer to speak to his office and the response was 'that's what the system comes back with' and they have no control over it. Appallingly this is the type of company that relies on the negligence and or blind faith of their customers and it would seem that even their engineers believe this to be the case. In total the diagnosis and over costing of a replacement part cost me around £100 and still my boiler is broken. I will be taking this matter further.
