Rogue Traders and Rude staff (Steve). Engineer wired up boiler circuit board reverse polarity and blew it up. Then wanted to charge me £300 for a replacement part they damaged. I found this part online for £40 Also told me my 11 year old boiler is 20 years old and should be replaced. Do not trust this company and the office staff are extremely rude. I gave them the opportunity to put this right and Steve more or less hung up on me not interested! No way to run a company - Very disappointing as I had previously recommended Wagstaff to many of our customers over the last 10 years.

Despite being temporarily fiscally challenged in the coldest part of this year when my boiler packed up permanently, Wagstaffs were so helpful and efficient that within three days, everything was installed and working to complete satisfaction. Having spoken with most of the staff at some point during our business relationship of over five years now, their high standard, efficiency and quality of workmanship cannot be faulted from my experience. I would highly recommend them.

Charged me £440 for a repair that included £60 call out fee, boiler worked for additional 4 days before original fault returned and so whole boiler had to be replaced then wanted 2k for a new boiler that others did for £1850. Came round within 2hrs and removed said new parts and offered only £210 refund our of the £440 paid. We are still waiting for the refund. My wife visited them and they argued and agreed 50% of the fitting costs but still waiting for refund whatever they are now going to send. Very rude, defensive and not customer friendly, what a local business I would expect more, we could have used a national company but chose local and this is what you get. I would not recommend these if you want customer satisfaction, oh and by the way the boiler they tried to fix was left back firing dangerously.

We just recently had a new boiler and radiators fitted in the house. All I can say that the work was to a very high standard. Kevin the installer not only fitted the boiler but went up and beyond his duties to ensure we were 100% satisfied with the job. I will recommend this company and staff are friendly and Steve is always on the phone to ensure that we were pleased with the work that was provided.
