Hackney Heating

To say that the owner is a piece of work is an understatement. He went absolutely mental when I second guessed the repairs he was about to do. He made repairs on our boiler without having any access to the flue, which is highly unprofessional. He would not listen to or even acknowledge my long list of boiler issues, eventually saying that it was impossible and, "If all this is true then the boiler has many, many faults." All this while proclaiming that he should know because, "I'm the best engineer in London". In hindsight, it was fairly obvious that the boiler, which was 4 years past warranty, needed to be replaced. Against my better judgement, I proceeded with the suggested repairs. Four visits and £800 later and the boiler is exactly as it was before. I called another engineer and he immediately said that there was no way he would even attempt to fix it and that he could not believe someone else had tried given it was way past warranty and despite not having any access to the flue. When I mentioned the 'repairs' made he laughed and said that they were completely illogical and pointless. It was my first time dealing directly with a boiler repair and I am kicking myself for not getting a second opinion.. That £800 could have gone towards the new boiler. Basically, he's either not as good as he claims to be, he ripped us off purposely, or both.

Engineers worked hard to get all the work done in under an hour to cut down on my costs. Appreciated. EDIT—called them again three years later for a new boiler install. Great job, thank you.

Really happy with the service from the team at Hackney heating. Found the issue with my boiler and what parts were needed. Then returned today to fit them. All up and running again and looking forward to a nice shower. Highly recommended

Very happy with the service provided by Hackney Heating. Managed to stop my toilet leaking everywhere and saved me from a massive bill from my landlord!! The service provided was excellent, turned up earlier than expected and fixed the issue within minutes. Absolutely excellent service even though it was out of hours. Would recommend to anyone with a plumbing issue. Would give 6 stars if I could!! ????
