Ian Painting & Decorating, Building and Maintenance

We would definitely recommend Ian to anyone. Friendly, efficient, competent and professional. No time wasting drinking endless cups of tea or taking breaks. He just get on with the job he have come do! Each time we've used Ian Painting & Decorating, Building and Maintenance we've been impressed with the level of service and quality. The work was to paint a large kitchen, ceiling, walls, doors, radiators. He arrived on time, finished on time, did an excellent job, cleaned up after and was very polite and a nice guy. He even came back the next day to make sure everything was working correctly! Highly recommended!

Do NOTTTTTTTTTT get anything done by this man ! I wouldn’t normally post on anything but I paid £100 a role for my glitter wallpaper I had 2 rolls I asked him many of times are you sure you can put this wallpaper up and he said yes I have done it before. He comes opens the wallpaper goes to put 1 strip up and goes oh no I have cut it to small bearing in mind I only had anough as it was Made to measure so I was 1 strip short I was fuming at this point but thought he could reuse it he gets another piece and does the same thing but this time it was worse as he had cut chucks out of the wallpaper it was going thinner and thinner towards the bottom of the wall and even I know you can’t match that up!!! I then told him to stop and asked him how he was going to match that wallpaper up as it was wonkey and his reply was “I know your right it’s wonkey I said is that it you have never done this before have you ? and he said I have done similar ???? so I told him to leave he them asked me to phone him a taxie is he messing !!! after telling me he done loads he also said I don’t know how to fix it ???????????? I had saved up for weeks to afford this and he completely wrecked it I asked for my money back £50 I even told him il go half with him on 1 role and he said he would put the money into my bank Friday it come to Friday and he had blocked me off everything leaveing my walls like that it’s Alott of money and he still hasn’t give me my Money Ian gutted !!! I have been told by many Of people he done this to loads of people PLEASEEEEE DO NOT USE HIM and Ian actually talking this further Ian a young girl bought my 1st home and he has actually wrecked my wallpaper
