When I asked them to come and clear a bathroom blockage they quoted £30 per hr plus VAT. They were at the house 2.5 hours and were not able to clear the blockage. They charged £161, for his hours plus travelling time (6.3 miles x 2) and a toilet pan connector. County Drains came and cleared the blockage for £96. A very expensive and disappointing result from Gubb's, I regret calling them.

Woeful. Payed for a service that we subsequently found out hadn't been completed properly. Very nearly cost us a lot of money. Stay well clear!
Absolutely gutted with this company. I rang to see if I could book an appointment, I was told I could wait in all day but they couldn't garantee I would be seen. As I started to respond, "I have a seven month old baby-" I was cut off, with the women on the other end of the phone saying "that's not my problem, he'll get to you if he gets to you" I was going to say "so waiting around isn't convenient, could I book in advance for another day" but after being greeted with that response I decided a different company was a better idea!
