Not a good experience. I was advised that a repair on furnace (igniter motor) was going to cost approx $1100.00. Reportedly the motor was going bad because it had to much "play" in the shaft. While on site, the rep and I reviewed replacement part on line. Cost to purchase replacement motor was $68.00. Further discussion with management lowered the price to $900.00. So, I order the part and installed it myself in 30 minutes. Replacement involved seven sheet mental screws and some gasket material. (Note: Based on observation, the replacement motor seemed to have the same "play" as the old motor). During the same visit, I was also advised that my air conditioner needed work. I obtained a 2nd opinion and service on my air conditioning and they reported the system was operating fine.

Impressed (not now 8 months later) right from the start, having chosen Econo to replace my system. As a preferred installer of Lennox "signature" line of HVAC packages, I guess half of the chore of choosing a good installer was already done. And also Costco's installer. As for the installation, a competent team, each who knew their task well, besides be courteous, respectful, and careful of my home and furnishings. Nothing soiling, nothing damaged. In fact, I paid them in full even before all the inspections have been completed. What does that tell you? The above was my review after completion 1-1-19, but little did I know that these guys decided not to permit the solar panels that came with my hybrid air conditioning system and didn't tell me about it. I only realized this after about two months and receiving bills that didn't reflect any savings from the solar panels. So, having informed them, caught this, they now, for about six months, have led me thru their "round-a-bout" remedies of contacting the city with inadequate plans that so far, two different plan submissions, didn't pass. I am not told a different set of issues as to why the third attemt is not working and taking time. Yes, patient but thought I would not have to do this with a Costco contractor.

Econo Air is a complete scam job! I was referred to them through Costco to replace my furnace and Air conditioning. I had my unit installed in July of 2014 and was told by Econo Air I needed to have my unit serviced by them twice per year to remain under the factory warranty. This last service the technician came out and did his service then advised my wife we needed a $1500 inline filter because my system was under too much load. After the technician left and completed his service, my correctly working AC unit stopped working altogether. I called Econo air, and they sent the same tech out the next day, and he informed I needed the inline filter because my system was under too much load. I knew the was complete BS, so I requested the manager "Matt" come out. I am sure glad I got the entire repair on video from my phone and my Ring camera! Matt had discovered that the original tech had hooked up my fan and condenser correctly to resister, causing the unit to run, then overheat, then shut off. I did the vicious cycle for 24 hours. The Econo Air techs refused to give me any paperwork, and the corporate office refuses to provide me with any paperwork regarding this incidence. I now fear the AC unit hooked up incorrectly may cause long term damage. I always thought I was safe if Costco referred me to a company, but now I am entirely scared of any company Costco refers, they refuse to do anything about this. The Econo Air install team would deserve a 10 star rating but the telemarketing team that constantly calls and lies to me about services is horrible! I had a Rep arguing with me on the phone I needed a service and I told him to give me a price with filters. He kept insisting I needed a service and I kept telling him I want one and I'm ready, just give a rough price with filter.

These eyes are terrific. Don't look anywhere else.

We had three contractors look at our 20+ year old failing AC system and advise us on what we needed to fix and/or replace to make it functional and reliable again. Two told us we should replace almost everything, i.e., the condenser, coils, line set, and furnace. They proposed running the new line set through the interior of the garage, where it would be an eyesore. One of the two was extremely expensive. The second was reasonable. The Econo Air representative said there was no reason to change out the relatively new furnace. He went into the attic and determined that a new line set could be run through it, so that it would be almost invisible. His price was almost the same as second one. On the day scheduled for the work, less than a week later, a crew of 5 to 7 guys showed up on time and did all the required work in about 12 hours. They were polite, competent and hardworking. They took care to keep all working areas clean. Every little detail was nicely done. At the end of the day the new internet connected thermostat was set up and explained. Everything seems to work well. It is fair to say Econo Air exceeded our expectations. We would recommend them to anyone.
