Safegas were simply brilliant! My boiler broke down and it was deemed beyond economical repair by another company. The 'other' company quoted me for a new boiler and the price I received was extortionate, whilst I appreciate boilers can be expensive to replace, I certainly was not ready for the price I received. Following this quote, I decided to contact Safegas as friends mentioned how fair and honest they are. Following my morning call for a quote, Safegas attended that afternoon and it was nice to see such a professional outfit, great credit to Daniel. He confirmed what the 'other' company said about it being beyond economical repair although right there and then Daniel provided a ball park figure for the boiler swap. After around an hour or two, I was contacted by Daniel who sent over the quote swiftly. Following such a swift turn around and Daniel's professional manner, I decided that Safegas were the company for me! On the day, installer Matt arrived at the time we agreed and installed the new boiler quickly and with no mess. Similar to Daniel, Matt was personable, friendly and very professional! Thank you to Safegas, in particular, Daniel and Matt for getting me back up and running as promised. I will certainly be recommending Safegas to my friends and have decided to take out their aftercare plan because now I have a 10 year warranty and the rest of my system is covered by Safegas now

Safegas managed to sort out my Mum's Heating issue rather quickly. I called them two weekends ago as my Mum's heating did not seem to be working and thankfully they arrived the same day. Just wanted to thank Neil especially who was particularly lovely and resolved the issue with a part on his van. Thankfully, we did not have to pay either as my mum has a contract with Safegas. We have been with Safegas since 2005, we have never had any issues with this company at all. The quality of work when they replaced our boiler ( and relocated it) was second to none. We have emergency cover with safe gas, and although the prices have gone up, like everywhere else, we can usually guarantee that, in an emergency, the response time is very good. Dealing with them over the telephone is always a pleasant experience. We feel with have got to know a small number of the engineers who come to service our boiler, as it's often the same ones, which tells me that they are happy to work for the company, it also means we can have a bit of a catch up with them too,as well as being able to feel confident in their ability to do a "proper job" without having to stand over them. Very happy with the service we receive, as is my mum, who on our recommendation, also had a new boiler ( 2, actually, one in her old house) put in when she moved to another property, so that should tell you something. Well done Safe gas!???? Long may you continue to serve ! ☺

We would give 0 stars if that was possible as we have received abysmal customer service and communication from what we’d describe as a robbing company. Avoid at all costs and don’t waste your time and money. Work was carried out upon their recommendation post our boiler service so we agreed upon a quote for a new downpipe fitting AND a gas fire installation which was £130 total. Reasonable, so we booked and waited several weeks for a date to which the engineer then turned up and refused to fit the fire on the day but did the other job ( took 30 mins). We were left with no fire and seeking another company in winter who couldn’t then fit our fire for 4 more weeks! Safegas deducted just £16+ vat off our bill so this robbing company is demanding £110.88 for the other half of the 30 minute job which my husband could have done himself if we thought your fee was so high for the one job! Despite requesting them to look into this payment query they say their revised price is correct?!? Hmmmmmm appears to be some serious miscalculation here as we pointed out for them to fit a fire they say is just £16+ vat! Our issue is the revised cost shouldve been communicated prior to doing the job not an afterthought and expecting near enough full payment. Unfair, unprofessional and would not recommend.
