Altogether good service. I was kept regularly updated on the work being carried out. The man in the shop and the ones doing the work were always pleasant and helpful.

Definitely a no go zone for women. Know your place and send the old man - even if he does leave DIY to you. The 'gentleman' behind the counter has perfected the art of condescension. He might as well have said 'go home and put the kettle on love and send the man of the house down'. I knew what I needed - he, although far superior obviously, didn't. If you want to be transported back to 70s style sexism this is the place for you!! Fortunately my sense of humour is better than his customer care.
