Julian Paul Plumbing

My boiler stopped working suddenly in November 2017 and I had neither hot water nor central heating. I called around for quotes and as I was unemployed and short on money I made sure that whoever came to check my boiler would not charge anything for coming over and diagnosing the problem. Julian agreed to do this. When he came he changed the fuse and suddenly my boiler kicked in. Julian took £40 from me on the spot (no receipt was issued) despite the fact that I did not ask him to do any work. Still, I was happy to pay to have my central heating and hot water back on. Only after he left I realised that only central heating worked, but there was no hot water. The next morning boiler was not working again (no central heating and no hot water) so I went to my box with spare fuses and replaced the fuse again. I got back central heating but not the hot water. Despite many messages to Julian over the next few weeks, he never got back to me and to this day (October 2018) my boiler still doesn't heat water. Julian was happy to take the money for 'repairing' my boiler but when I called him to help me get the hot water (which he claimed I had when he took the money) he didn't want to know. Unfortunately, he did not stay in my flat long enough for me to realise that the boiler wasn't heating the water, only the radiators. My advice to anyone else who has work done by Julian Paul Plumbing is not to part with any money until you are absolutely sure that everything is working.
