Fixed Price Trade

A big thank you to Craig and his brilliant tradesmen namely Alex, Lee and Louis for completing our new bathroom in two days and to a very high standard. They were at all times courteous and kept us fully informed with their progress. They also cleaned up after each day's work, which we thought was great. I would have no hesitation in recommending Fixed Price Trade to anyone. Thank you again lads.

I used this company when my kitchen fitter let me down at the last minute. Craig Sean and the lads were brilliant from first contact to completion of the work, the service we received was never less than brilliant. We now have a beautiful kitchen we love and would have no hesitation in recommending Fixed price trade to our friends.

Stay well clear of this company, I had to give it one star to post the review, if I could it would of been none. The review by Steven Blair has been reported to Google as Companies House has a Steven Blair who would appear to have been a past director who has since resigned! I cannot stress this enough, I was told on the original pre start meeting that I could have added confidence in them as they allow you to pay through PAYPAL, allowing you to be protected if there is any problems. This is all lies, as I soon found out PAYLPAL class work such as bathroom fits and other household work as services and it is not covered by them, known to all businesses who use this service! We regretfully appointed them to supply and fit our dream bathroom and ended up with an absolute nightmare. The workmanship was atrocious, the first set of fitters were sacked from the job half way through the original fit which started 6th Feb 2017 and had to be completely removed. Craig Kingsland the director personally carried out the 2nd fit, we paid the balance in full then found out his refit was just as bad only it turned out he had covered everything up. After experiencing major problems due to them not leveling the floor correctly and endless emails to get him to resolve them, he agreed to send a third tradesman to fix the problems who subsequently was a joiner who “made good and mended” items he could such as the door and floor. We now have a bathroom that looks like somebodies first attempt at DIY, there is not one thing that has been done correctly, the newly plastered walls and ceiling are horrendous, landing carpet ruined covered in silicone and decorators caulk, finishes are terrible, the painters made a shocking job and left paint marks everywhere, including the front door handle when entering and exiting house....the list is endless!. Advised us we would need a new window as the shower would overhang so got one with extra jambs so the glass wouldn’t be covered…..it didn’t, we ended up with a window that looks ridiculous, it was then badly fitted, they cracked my newly pitched roof and rubbed the silicone from their fingers all over the tiles where they sat while fitting. There are gauges in the taps, money owed for items that were meant to be fitted and have not been, extractor fan that he admits is not powerful enough for the room, as confirmed with the manufacturer, he claims that is not how they are sold so will not replace it. The worst part is we have a shower cubicle that leaks, clear by the state of the seal on the outside, it has been very badly fitted on to the base, , there are nails starting to appear through the silicone from underneath between the tray and the tiles, it is sealed on the inside around the enclosure which I have recently been informed by a professional fitter should never be done so is developing black mould by the day. The shower boards on the other hand, they have not been sealed correctly and are now starting to take in water and bulging at the base. We are at our witts end with this. We have tried to get Craig Kingsland the director to put everything right given his website quotes professional, vetted tradesman and a guarantee of 12months on all work. We have been more than reasonable given the state of the work he has carried out and the length of time he has dragged this out, this has been going on since February, it is now December and they have left me with little choice other than to review and expose them for what they really are. Gutted I don't have my dream bathroom and he just doesn't care!
