Thank you STL. When our heating broke we were worried as we had not hot water or heating. Got a few quotes and STL was one of them. They priced matched a local plumber and gave us an extra long warranty if we went with them. Boiler installed and all working great. Happy to recommend them as they were very good.
I have tried to contact STL on numerous occasions, to arrange a service on my boiler, which they installed 2 years ago. I have now spent in excess of 45 mins waiting in queues for someone to respond, without success. A recorded message suggests that contact can be made via their website, however the website is noted as being 'under construction'!!! I have even sent an e-mail requesting that they contact me - again no response. I am now not sure whether the company is still in existence but am now inclined to seek an alternative company who may be more responsive.
Just to let everyone know this company has gone under. All customers left out of pocket but word on the street is they are starting another business. Good Luck to anyone trying to get a service if they paid for them and warrantee’s. Don’t care about anyone other then themselves
This is Mickey mouse company. The engineer did not turn up last week. Nobody informed me. I was waiting until call myself. They assured me next week the engineer will come. Nobody came, office is not answering the phone. Stay away from this company!!!
STL ARE NO LONGER IN BUSINESS ..........STL installed my boiler 364 days ago. They were terrible and I have not got enough space to tell you how bad they were but I swore I would never let them in my home again, however I stupidly took up their offer of 2 years free servicing (after a very lengthy argument at that time of installation). One week following the service (10th Jan) , my boiler has broken. I tried phoning and emailing STL with no response (good job it was not a gas leak!) and eventually contacted a local plumber. He told me that STL. went out of business on 17th January. There goes my 12 year warranty! if you are still paying money to them I would suggest you stop paying them now. Horrible, dangerous, rude, irresponsible, money grabbing people). If I could give them no stars I would!
