called these out on an emergency call out charge of £150 due to water leaking from the bathroom. he said waste pipe and floorboards need replacing, so claim it off insurance. they wouldnt do any temporary fix to stop the leak but were happy to take the call out charge. Went to a local more professional engineer who looked at it at NO charge, confirmed in fact it was an overflow pipe which needed replacing, temporaily fixed the leak untii he fits new pipe the next day at half the cost of this companies emergency call out charge. expensive lesson to learn.
