ARS / Rescue Rooter Colorado

ARS was terrific. They came to tune up my central a/c unit. It has lots of issues but is still working after 20 years. My tech Kwang was outstanding. He went above and beyond, giving me simple to understand info and lots of options, not just the obvious one, which is to replace the unit. I will request him every time they have to come out. Very professional service. I'll recommend ARS for sure.

We used ARS Rescue Rooter when our water heater went out in our condo and our technician was Jacob. He was phenomenal. Very professional and explained what was wrong and why we needed to replace our very old water heater. He replaced it in way less time than I thought and walked me through what I would need to do for maintenance. I have used ARS for many different projects in our house and I keep using them because they not only do a great job, but the technicians are always professional, kind, easy to understand, and they get the job done right the first time. I would highly recommend.

I scheduled an appointment weeks in advance to be able to work around my work schedule. They called the day before to cancel. So I rescheduled for later in the week and revised my work schedule to accommodate again. This time they canceled three hours before they were supposed to show up, in a voicemail. I didn't take the time to reschedule again. This just showed me a very unprofessional company which doesn't care about meeting their commitments.

the man who came out was really nice, really professional, and they provided a no pressure quote which is why it got 3 stars and not zero. the quote alone with their extreme markup warranted zero stars. the extreme markup the company has is outlandish. i get it, you charge 6-10x cost of parts/labor in order to make huge profits for your corporate leadership, but the fact is it is still highway robbery. they bank on the fact that 7/10 people wont price check them online, because well most people just don't educate themselves on pricing, and labor costs. Quoted: 13seer - 3.5ton AC unit + Coil $10,000 installed Actual Cost of a 3.5ton 13 seer AC unit + Coil from Rheem (which is the brand they use) = $1200 - $1500 for the unit and it automatically comes with a 10 year warranty. that means ARS is charging $8300-$8500 for the install which is connecting an electrical plug, and a couple of hoses. This is the problem with corporations and companies these days. they set the market price so high so they can continue to price gouge the consumer, knowing that most people wont check up on this stuff. ARS is not the only company who does this, Most companies do this, and i will be calling them out on it from now on.

We have used ARS twice. They are very honest. They are on time. They tell us exactly what we need and don't try to sell something that is unnecessary. They had an opportunity to sell us a brand new AC unit and actually sent someone out to make sure our old unit was beyond repair. It was repaired and they guaranteed the work or the money spent would go towards a new unit. We are very happy with ARS and will be using them anytime we have AC or furnace needs.
