A great local business. Professional, responsive, polite and fairly-priced for the size and type of business; don't expect one-man-band costs, but then try getting a recommended sole trader to do the job fast around here - if they even get back to you. Andy and team have helped us out at very short notice on a couple of occasions, which has probably saved money in the long run. In three years of using Nutcombe, the only slight annoyance is that one door on our airing cupboard now doesn't quite close after having a new hot water tank fitted. C'est la vie.

I have been dealing with Nutcombe and I have found them superficial. Their superficial inspection caused me to pay about 1400 pounds for fixing a boiler that had to be turned off less than 2 months after. Considering the cost of that fixing they should have had a better look before proceeding. After this incident they also have overcharged us for the use of radiators we borrowed from them while we found a better solution. I wouldn't recommend them.

I have been a customer of Nutcombe for a few years now. Always polite, professional and effective, both the head office staff or the on-site staff. I highly recommend their services. We have used them for installing taps, servicing our gas appliances, and most recently to fix our boiler - it was a serious repair, which was done in 2 days, efficiently and without fuss, and the employee even left us a portable heating element so that we don't get too cold overnight! Overall, a 5 star service :-)
