SH Builders and Joiners

Recently had some new doors fitted, the service we received was excellent!! We found them to be friendly, efficient and the job was done in the promised time scale to a very high standard. They were tidy too!! Would definitely recommend them!!

Dreadful company. I booked them for a 5 day job that took almost 3 months. Some of the issues were doors not put in the right place and old doorways not covered up properly. We also had a new staircase fitted and they tried to fob us off with a piece of 4x4 pine for the newels. Even the Bannister wasn't put on straight and was almost 6 inches higher at the bottom than the top. No communication and constantly asking for money despite THEIR terms and conditions. After lots of mithering and telling them to get a proper joiner in to do the stair parts, they eventually finished and to a good standard. We even had to measure and buy all the stair parts ourselves in the end to make sure it fitted properly. Wouldn't recommend the company but some of the subcontractors were good.
