Just bought a house and were provided with a building reg's document for the fitting of the combi boiler by F Lowes. When we had a central heating engineer out to quote for a new boiler he told us that the flue which was runs right across the garage ceiling from the boiler to the outside wall (about 2.5 m) should be supported with at least 3 brackets to ensure there's not undue pressure on the seals on the flue joints leading to CO leaking. Also the condensate pipe which was just dripping onto the block paved path up the side of the garage should be attached to a pipe or going into a soakaway drain. This boiler was fitted into the home of an 84 year old gentleman. STEER CLEAR
