I’ve used Hinckley Plumbing and Heating for two fairly significant plumbing jobs over the last few years: a new central heating boiler and heating system approximately 4 years ago, and the fitting of a non-vented hot water tank and removal of a galvanised steel water tank from the loft a couple of weeks ago. On both occasions I had competitive quotes, and on both occasions, the quote from Hinckley Plumbing and Heating was the most expensive (slightly). However, on both occasions, I opted for Hinckley Plumbing and Heating to carry out the work for the following reasons: a) The quotations were comprehensive, clear and unambiguous. I knew exactly what they intended to do. b) The quotations matched what I wanted. (To try and keep the price down, the “one-man-band” jobbing plumbers tended to quote what they wanted to do, and not necessarily what I wanted them to do). c) Reliability: The plumbers turned up when they said they would turn up. They were also exceptionally hard workers. And tidy. d) The quality of the work carried out was excellent: properly finished off with no short cuts taken. In short, I would recommend.

Came out to fix a leaking rad but said could not find a leak even tho there was a bowl of water that had dripped out of it, came back a second time and still could not find a leak. On 3rd visit found and repaired but charged me for all 3 visits! Surely if they are good plumbers they would have found it first time. I would not recommend.

After calling this company out they charged us £58 for under 3 minutes work of just resetting the bolier , which then after 2 days the original issue started again. After managing without a bolier until we could get hold of the company they informed us they would come look at the bolier without charge cause it was the same error but then they phoned back and said they would not come out to investigate the first issue and was told we would be charged for a new call out even though it was the same problem! Very angry and at the way me and my husband was treated will not being using this company again.
