Boiler broke down a week ago (very chilly at night!) They came out really quickly and sorted the issue out there and then. Great service and trust what they are saying. Nice to use local businesses..

I have not had a good experience with Watermarcs. It began before Christmas when my boiler threw an F5 error and promptly shut down. Marc came out and showed me how to reset the boiler and we booked in a service. As soon the boiler reset and came back on it had an consistent F6 error (Low Flow over Thermistor) and basically produces zero heat. Some weeks later Marc came back to service the boiler, this had no effect on the F6 problem and he advised me to i) flush the system and ii) replace the pump. Many weeks later (after I booked it in the same day as the service) Marc came back to do the power flushing which produced very little gunk (i.e. basically didn't need doing) for £350.00. The F6 problem persisted. So within a few days of the flushing I booked in the new pump on Marcs advice. Again it took weeks before Marc was able to come back and fit the pump, but I endured having no heating throughout Dec, Jan, Feb and now March because he was convinced the new pump would fix the problem. New pump fitted, yet the problem persisted. Now he charged me £250 to fit the pump and said it was done in an hour. The pump is on sale for £70 to the public and when I asked for a breakdown of the invoice they got shirty with me. Is £180 an hour a usual rate for a plumber? Felt a bit like I was getting ripped off, especially as the problem was not fixed after all this time & money. I believe he got the initial diagnosis completely wrong, the flushing and the new pump were totally unnecessary and did not fix the problem. I sit here today with the same F6 fault I had back in December now only almost £700 worse off. I was not impressed at having to wait weeks between appearances and when I raised my concerns they were happier to bin me off rather than address the issues and fix my boiler. Totally unprofessional. Use at your own peril

What an amazing company to work with! On time, tidy, great quality workmanship and efficient. Our boiler broke just before winter (as they always do) and I was looking for a local firm to fix it. Most don't even bother to answer the phone / call you back. Edwina did and an inspection visit was scheduled. Having opened the old boiler - we all concluded it needed to go (no pressure selling!) and that evening we had 2 quotes from Watermarcs for 2 different type boilers. We picked one and 2 weeks later it was installed. A flawless experience and I would highly recommend them.
