great company; in 10 minutes they unbocked a drainage that previous incompetent company has been not able to do so. Arranged them Friday 5.30pm and in one hour they were on site. Great compliments guys

This company is not even worthy of one star. I booked an appointment for the next day, the slot I was given to me was 8:30 to 12:30 so I duly took the morning off work (unpaid) to stay home. By around 11:30 I had heard nothing and was conscious that I had to get to work so I called them and enquiried as to when I could expect them to attend to unblock our shower drain, they informed me that they would call me back having spoken to the person attending. Another half an hour passed and I heard nothing so I called again. This time I was told no one will be coming this morning as they're struck on another job. This is despite me having paid £96 the day before to secure my booking. The representative for the company was extremely matter of fact and hostile so I said so that's it? He said what do you want me to do if they're stuck on another job they cant come, you cant expect them to drop it to come to you!! He was unapologetic and completely dismissive of the urgency. This was one of the hottest days of the year and I had told my teenage boys to wait to have a shower as the guy was coming to unblock the shower before 12:30. They had no contingency plan for these events and kept saying well what do you want me to do!! Not so much as a call to inform me or an or a sincere apology. Eventually he said I might be able to send someone between 4-5pm. Having put the phone down I started ringing around and got someone else to agree to come later on that day for a flat fee of £60 once the job had been done. I called up Plumbjet and told them that I wanted a refund to which they agreed. The new guy duly attended was super polite and the job took 10 minutes and I gave him his £60. This company do not deserve your business as they are not at all customer service orientated and couldn't care less after having taken you money in advance. I would give them a wide birth if I were you!

Excellent company. Friendly staff. Got my job done within 45 minutes and that was a complex drain problem. Were so professional and kept me in the loop all the way. I would use them again and highly recommend then over the brand company. They had a fully fitted van with all the gadgets - which is what you need in an Emergency.

Experience started well and the engineer that came round to carry out the CCTV drain survey was knowledgeable and very helpful. However, that was over 2 weeks ago and I still haven't heard back on the final quote to carry out the necessary work. I've chased a lot via email and also called a number of times but still nothing!. Every time I called the office, the relevant person was out and nobody seemed to know what was going on. Not good customer care and I'll be taking business elsewhere. I wouldn't recommend this company.

Despite wasting my time by not turning up for an appointment, I decided to give them another chance and rebooked with them. This time they turned up, but there was an unpleasant surprise on the final bill. They charged me VAT on top of the price they advertise. They explained that the price appears correctly on their site. However, I booked directly through their Google advert that displayed a price with no mention of VAT being charged on top. Sent them a screenshot of the advert and a supervisor called. He said that they have no control of what's displayed on their adverts - clearly a big fat lie. In a very self important way he also started to explain to me how VAT works, and how he can't possibly reduce the price to what actually their advertising promises. They must be the only business in the UK with no control over their pricing and advertising. If you book them, expect to be charged near to £100 for a blocked drain, and not £80 as advertised. Also, call them prior to the appointment to ensure that they'll actually come and you won't be wasting your time waiting for them in vain.
