Hardacres Plumbers

We had a water pipe burst and this company was recommended to us by a friend. Rang them early Monday and they had a guy out to us within the hour. Plumber went and got the part needed (honestly who expects folk to carry parts they may never need) in half an hour and job done an hour later. Prices very reasonable, no ridiculous call out fee and works competed to a good standard. Would definitely recommend.

They came to my place of work to fix a leaky pipe. The guys who came looked at it for 10 minutes before disappearing for more than an hour to go and get a replacement part that surely they should have had in their van, what with them being plumbers and everything! They 'fixed' the pipe and left. A couple of days later, the pipe started leaking again. We received our bill and asked that someone come out to fix the leaky pipe as they said they had done but their attempts had failed. We were promised on several different occasions that someone would come back but no one showed. Eventually, we spoke to someone of authority who - to be fair to him - wasn't pleased with our treatment and sent someone out to tighten the seal pretty much immediately. We were told that if this didn't work, the job would cost more than ten times first quoted. Luckily, the pipe isn't leaking currently. We got there in the end, but I wouldn't recommend.
