STOP....The water heaters they install are the worst on the market but they'll tell you they're the best. 6 months ago $1,800 for a water heater. Thinking it might have a leak hearing water drip onto the burner call them to take a look turns out it's condensation when the tank fills the Water crates condensation $85 service charge thinking it was under warranty to be told condensation dripps down onto the burner and will eventually rust parts of the water heater. Before purchase Google the water heater part number and read all the bad reviews

TOO EXPENSIVE. Paymore NOT Payless for water heater repair. The pilot would light but burner wouldn’t ignite on my water heater. I researched the problem and found that I needed a new gas control valve. This part was listed for sale online for $119.95. Shame on me for not asking Payless for a phone quote to replace this part. When the tech arrived, I told him the problem, he concurred and worked up pricing. He quoted $679 to do the repair but tried to up sell me to buy a new water heater because my unit was 8 years old. I told him I wanted the repair and a better price as I had priced out the part. He called the manager on duty, Josh and got approval for $100 off or $579. I called Josh back and told him about the cost of the part. He said that they only sold a kit which included the burner, he said this kit RETAILED for about $300. I suggested he do the deal for $450, he could make money on the kit AND make $150 on labor for one hour of work. He refused. I paid $85 for a service call that I didn’t need. The company would’ve made more money if he’d taken my offer. Lesson learned - ask for a quote before they come out.
